Poem/Fic - In The Darkness There Is Light

Inspired By Roswell's Maria and Michael. If Maria where taken to the Special Forces Unit by her father the new head. Her Da has had her brainwashed into a cold blooded killer. She is on the hunt for Michael. They meet, they fight Michael runs into the forest. Maria follows, she calls out to him. She wonders why he just doesn't use his power to kill her. He makes her feel, things she has forgotten. She is confused and scared of what she has become.

In The Darkness There Is Light

Cold to the touch am I
Cold and Dark are my eyes
Cold and lethal is my tongue
Cold to the touch am I
 
Will you weep for me?
Will you tell them all where I have gone
Will you pretend I never was?
Will you weep for me?
 
I am not the girl you used to know
I am not the love you longed for so
I am not who I used to be
I am not the girl you used to know
 
Somewhere in the night they stole my soul
Somewhere between here and hell I became lost
Somewhere in the dark I lost my way
Somewhere in the night they stole my soul
 
Do you hear me
Are You still there
Why do you care?
She waits for his answer
 
I love you that is why I’m here
I love you that is why I care
I love you that is why you can never be lost to me
She turns and sighs with tears in her eyes. He barely hears but she whispers "Save me!"
